Culinary Atlanta Guide to Best Restaurants, Markets, Breweries, and More!

As a native Atlanta foodie and lover of new dining experiences, I was pleased to discover Culinary Atlanta, a new book from Malika Bowling whose food blog Roamilicious takes you on a culinary journey not just through Atlanta but across the USA and beyond.  Malika has been writing about food for over a decade (but enjoying it much longer!)

Culinary Atlanta is a fitting title especially since we have some of the best restaurants in America, including Staplehouse which was has received acclaim from Bon Appetit, GQ, Esquire and been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, ABC, NBC and countless others.

Malika’s book Culinary Atlanta is divided into various Atlanta areas including Buckhead, Downtown, Inman Park/Virginia Highland/Old Fourth Ward, Midtown, Decatur, Emory, Druid Hills, Buford Highway, Sandy Springs and Dunwoody.  Also in the book is a section on Local Chains, “Not Starbucks”, Breweries, Festivals & Markets and Food Tours and Top Chefs.

I love her insight and it’s nice to have a different perspective from someone who enjoys food as much as I do.  The book is a great resource when you especially are asking “where can we go for dinner?!”  Available on Amazon in paperback and available for download on Kindle.

I’m going to step outside of my comfort zone and venture into some new restaurants this year.  Culinary Atlanta gives your taste buds a road map of what to expect.  Enjoy!

Here’s one of my favorites from her book that’s “Worth the Drive!”
