This year’s event will be held Monday, October 4th at the well-manicured Callahan Golf Links in Waleska, Georgia.

Registration begins at 11 AM, with tee-off at 1 PM.

The cost for this event is only $500.00 per foursome. This price includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, a Subway snack, and various awards.

There will be an awards presentation and the raffle will be directly after golf at the Callahan Golf Links here in Waleska at 4991 Reinhardt College Parkway.

On my way to a client meeting I decided to stop in Goodwill and take a look around.  WOW!  The store was totally organized.   Treasures tucked on almost every shelf.  Even in store announcements for new arrivals and thanking us for shopping Goodwill.   Bicycles, office furniture, stereo mixers, computer speakers, wireless intercoms, small appliances, Holiday decor and more. Take a look at some of the items just waiting for you at Goodwill in Roswell (Holcomb Bridge road and Alpharetta Highway).

We fill up our lives with so much stuff.  I remember George Carlin saying we get a place for our stuff and then need a bigger place for more stuff.  Imagine getting rid of a lot of material things and really downsizing–to an 8 foot x 12 foot home!  Jay went from over 4,000 square feet to a home he built and designed.  What amazes me is how spacious it really appears on the inside.  Take a look!

Here is something else I stumbled upon!

So over the weekend I attended a party for the new reality show “FoUnd” at Buckhead’s newest bar or should I say “speakeasy” that roars of the 1920’s!  Prohibition is located in the East Andrews Entertainment complex and entry is through an old antique phone booth.  BUT you have to know the phone number to get in and if the bartender answers you gotta know the password or no entry!  I was really pleasantly surprised to discover the warmth and upscale intimacy of Prohibition.  You really feel like you’ve walked through a time machine.  No windows and hidden from the street and courtyard.  Look for the red iron phone booth and get your prescription filled at Prohibition.  (Get there early if you don’t like smoke as cigars fill the air late in the evening.)
