Second City Fun with “Tom Sullivan!”

My friends were calling me and saying “Tom, you were in the new Second City production at The Hertz Theatre and you were funny!” Well I thought WOW! Then my Aunt phoned and she too had seen “Tom Sullivan”. So I knew it was time to go.
My TV wife Holly Firfer and I found a $5.00 parking lot down the hill behind the Alliance and attended the 2:30 p.m. show on Saturday. The Second City “Peach Drop Stop and Roll” is filled with laughs. I of course loved the opening line from actor Randall Harr who plays me “Tom Sullivan” as a host of the famous Peach Drop in Underground Atlanta. And he was brilliant!!

The show is filled with tons of improv and laughs. Holly and I sat front row at one of the tables for two. Perfect seating to call out suggestions to the cast. I suggested “A goat” for a scene and Holly suggested the year of 1922 and both turned out really entertaining. If you sit front row you might be propositioned to tip a “stripper” $10, $5 or $1 to watch her crush a beer can with her tits. I paid $5 (thought I might get it back though.) Was it worth it? Should have paid just a $1!! (give her your credit card–you can get that back!)
If you’re a fan of Atlanta then go see this production. Great cast and a bar that’s just as enjoyable. There is a 15 minute intermission.
