I was shopping Costco over the weekend and had to stop and do a double take–Christmas Harvest wreath and boxes of Christmas Holiday ribbon for sale–right when you walk in the store!  It was August 8th and the holidays were sprouting amdist 95 degree weather.  Tis the season?  I love Christmas and the holidays in general but it always seems to arrive a little earlier doesn’t it?   I remember Hallmark stores put out their ornaments in JULY!!  A friend mentioned that Hobby Lobby had up some Christmas decorations for sale but another said it was leftover from their Christmas in July sale.  With the economy the way it is maybe we need a lot more Christmas or feel of the holidays.  Everyone seems to be in better spirits.  Then there are those who are all stressed out about getting all the buying done and spending time with friends and family.  There doesn’t have to be so much drama.  For Thanksgiving you could skip spending all that time in the kitchen and simply open up delicious fresh Good Measure Meals!  Some of your guests would love the Vegetarian menu (as do I) and just think, you will have more time to spend with all the relatives you either enjoy or don’t.  But know this, ribbon is just $6.89 for a huge roll! Now that’s real holiday spirit!
